Strategy for forcing political change through orchestrated crisis

The oil spill crisis in the Gulf of Mexico gets worse by the day. Oil spews from the broken well, further polluting our water and shores. The clean-up efforts drag on with bureaucratic interference, making matters worse. And what is the Obama administration doing? It continues to push for unrelated responses that will have a disastrous effect on our economy, especially the economy of the Gulf states most affected.
In fact, President Obama summoned a bipartisan group of senators to the White House on Tuesday to discuss his climate change legislation. When Tennessee Senator Lamar Alexander suggested that any such energy meeting should include a focus on the oil spill and BP, Obama responded: “that’s just your talking point” and refused to discuss the crisis. This bill was put in place to protect the Unions against foreign countries performing their jobs in American waters. Kind of funny when you think of illegal immigration and the Administration………
By failing to waive The Jones Act -The Jones Act (officially The Merchant Marine Act of 1920 P.L. 83-644 particularly Section 27) covers all maritime commerce in US waters. This would include the use of boats involved in the oil spill disaster including those in the inter-coastal waterway and some of the passes into Choctawhatchee Bay. The technical term is “cabotage” which is any and all trade or navigation between two points in the same country and with it the implied right of a nation to control or limit said trade or navigation within its own borders. In practical terms it is used as a form of protectionism to exclude foreign shipping from coastal trading within a nation’s own waters. Please note the operative word is “Navigation” since Federal sovereignty extends to “Navigable Waters” and under Admiralty Law “Navigation” means operating a vessel on navigable waters for any commercial purpose; as well as, the actual act of navigation.
Not just the President, but the Department of Homeland Security Chief, has the ability to waive The Jones Act. But President Obama has still not waived it. It only takes the President 15 minutes of his precious time. No Act of Congress Required! …. (Mr. Obama could sign between holes on the golf course). We are knocking, but no one is answering. Many leaders do have the ability to waive the Jones Act – so who is going to step up to the plate and do the right thing for our nation?
Government Agencies Must Get Out Of The Way
The Environmental Protection Agency and the “Clean Water Act”. There is large and small equipment (both US and foreign) available to recover oil. This equipment has been refused because the equipment discharges water back into the Gulf that is only 90 to 98% clean of the oil. Our EPA has a problem with the discharge having a small amount of oil in it. The EPA will not allow any residue. Isn’t 90%- 98% removal much better than none at all?
A permit to build sand berms to protect the Chandeleur Islands, critical nesting habitat for the brown pelican, was issued after a one month delay. The Interior Assistant Secretary Tom Strickland agreed that the area needed protection, “But the berms have to be built right so they don’t compromise the barrier islands, which serve as a first line of defense against storm surges and hurricanes.” Dredging was halted and the State of Lousiana was ordered to dredge the sand from an alternate site, when bureaucrats decided that dredging would compromise the tidal patterns. Louisiana officials asked for a week’s extension to move the pipe to the alternate area – it was denied and the dredging was ordered halted. Billy Nungesser, the President of Plaquemines Parrish was livid.
The Coast Guard stopped the skimming efforts that were underway and pulled vessels back to the docks for 24 hours in order to check for life jackets and fire extinguishers. This is absurd. Why can’t the US Coast Guard get it priorities straight?
Foreign ships can stay off the US shore but they still require approval by the US Coast Guard and the Environmental Protection Agency. Too much red tape – not enough action during a crisis!
The Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill has been designated a spill of national significance. However, our Government has done so very little to stop the oil from damaging our precious coastlines. Our wildlife and fish are suffering and our citizens are at risk too. This disaster is not a right or left issue – nor should it be a fight whether we drill or not drill – This emergency is to save four important and valuable state coastlines, as well as our people too.
The oil spill in the Gulf coast is a disaster of epic proportions that will not end until the damaged well is capped and the massive amount of oil that has spilled into the Gulf of Mexico is some how corralled and collected. However, the Gulf states are now fighting the government in addition to the oil spill. The Federal Government is in the way and is impeding efforts to hold the oil back from spreading further and is hindering cleanup efforts.

Some may roll their eyes at this article because Tyranny isn’t something that can happen in America, right? Can anyone name anything other than a Government that has inflicted tyranny on their people? Government is the cause of tyranny, whether it’s a dictatorship, monarchy or communism. As a matter of fact, our constitution was created because they DID NOT trust government and wanted to limit their powers.
I would not put wood, gas and a spark in the same room unattended because I know that doing so would increase the chances of an explosion. The same way, I would not allow a Government to take control of private companies, cut our ability to create our own energy, interfere in the free market and Taxing us to death while attempting to pass a tax on CO2 which is what we exhale. Those are ingredients for the explosion and they are almost in the same room. I don’t trust anyone with my car and so many Americans trust that their Government has their health, wealth and happiness in their best interests. They DON’T! Do you need proof? Look what’s happening around you! Look at our debt levels and record forclosures. The economy is in shambles and it’s getting worse every day as our elected officials look for ways to raise taxes so we can cover their spending habits. And if they don’t get what they want, they’ll be sure to cut police and fire fighter budgets first – which is their most basic job: to Protect the people.
This is unsustainable and if it continues, it’s going to end badly. But we must take every possible step before the last resort.
There is one way to stop it: GET ACTIVE! GET INVOLVED and take over these institutions from these not so smart leaches we call representatives. That way we never have to see the last resort.
